The FedEx Cup standings are currently led by World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who has been at the top for most of the year. However, Scheffler could lose his position if Xander Schauffele wins the BMW Championship and Scheffler finishes outside the top five. Hideki Matsuyama is in third place, while Rory McIlroy, Collin Morikawa, and Wyndham Clark are all in a tight race for positions four through six.
