Boise State women’s golf team, under the leadership of head coach Kailin Downs, has announced their 2024-25 schedule, which promises to be an exciting and challenging season for the Broncos. The team will be competing in a total of nine tournaments throughout the fall and spring, culminating in the 2025 Mountain West Championship.

The season kicks off at the Golfweek Fall Challenge in Pawleys Island, S.C., marking the Broncos‘ return to South Carolina after six years. This will be a great opportunity for the team to showcase their skills and set the tone for the rest of the season. Following this, Boise State will head to the Golfweek Red Sky Classic, where they will look to build on their fourth-place finish from the previous year, with standout performances from Teal Matsueda and Leia Chung.

In October, the Broncos will travel to Tulsa, Okla., for the Dale McNamara Invitational before wrapping up the fall season at The Clash at Boulder Creek in Nevada. Last year, the team set a program record for the lowest three-round score at this event, demonstrating their potential for success in the upcoming season.

The spring campaign will see Boise State competing in California, starting with the Mountain Classic Match Play in Palm Desert, followed by the Alice and John Wallace Women’s Golf Classic. The team will then travel to Jacksonville, Fla., for the Momentum Transportation UNF Classic, marking their first trip to Florida in over a decade.

The final stretch of tournaments will take place in California, with the Silicon Valley Showcase in Millbrae and the Chevron Silverado Showdown in Napa. The regular season will conclude with the highly anticipated 2025 Mountain West Championship in Palm Desert, where the Broncos will look to make their mark in the conference.

Coach Downs will be leading a talented roster this season, with key returners such as Leia Chung, Teal Matsueda, and Hannah Lim, who have all proven themselves as consistent performers. Additionally, Annie Buffolino, Macee Greenwood, and Jillian Hui will bring their experience and victories from previous tournaments to the team. The roster has also been bolstered by the addition of transfers Emily Cadwell and Brooke Patterson, as well as Zoe Parker, a standout player from Bishop Gorman HS.

Overall, the 2024-25 season promises to be an exciting one for Boise State women’s golf, with a challenging schedule and a talented roster that is poised for success. Fans can look forward to following the Broncos as they compete against top competition and strive for excellence on the course.
