Cal Women’s Golf Unveils 2024-25 Season Schedule

The California women’s golf team is gearing up for an exciting new season as they prepare to embark on their first year in the ACC under the leadership of head coach Sofie Aagaard. Aagaard, a former standout golfer at Cal and a member of the California Athletics Hall of Fame, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the program as they look to make their mark in the competitive conference.

The Bears‘ season will kick off with the Annika Intercollegiate at Royal Golf Club in Lake Elmo, Minn. on Sept. 9-11, marking the beginning of a series of fall events that will test the team’s skills and chemistry. Last season, the Bears achieved early success with three consecutive victories, including a thrilling win over Stanford in the Big Match. This year, they will look to build on that momentum and continue their winning ways.

One of the highlights of the fall season will be the Molly Invitational at Bayonet & Black Horse in Seaside, where the Bears will aim to defend their title and showcase their talent. Led by Assistant Coach of the Year Bev Terry, the team set multiple program records at last year’s event, demonstrating their potential for greatness.

As the season progresses, the Bears will face tough competition at the Stanford Collegiate and the Nanea Invitational in Hawaii, setting the stage for an exciting spring campaign. The team will compete in a series of tournaments leading up to the ACC Championship in April, where they will look to make a statement and solidify their position in the conference.

With Aagaard at the helm, the Bears are poised for success as they aim to qualify for their 24th regional since 2000. The NCAA Regionals in May will provide a challenging test for the team, but with their top scorers Adora Liu and Constance Fouillet leading the way, they have the talent and determination to excel on the national stage.

Fans of Cal women’s golf can stay updated on the team’s progress by following them on Twitter and Instagram (@CalWGolf), where they can get the latest news, scores, and highlights. As the Bears embark on this new chapter in their program’s history, they are ready to showcase their skills and compete at the highest level in the ACC and beyond.
