Elizabeth Liu showcased her exceptional golfing skills on Monday at Meadow Club, leading the Branson School girls golf team to victory in their season-opening matches against Archie Williams and Terra Linda. Liu, the reigning two-time MCAL golfer of the year, carded a low round of 39, setting the pace for her team’s success. Her teammate, Sidney Kawahara, also contributed with a solid round of 48, helping the Bulls secure a team score of 189 and clinch wins over both opponents.

Archie Williams, led by Elke Osweiler’s 57 and Mirabelle Davis‘ 58, put up a good fight but ultimately fell short against Branson. Terra Linda, on the other hand, struggled to keep up, with Mia Schlotman’s 57 leading the Trojans in a losing effort. The Bulls‘ strong start to the season bodes well for their future performances, with Liu once again proving to be a formidable force on the golf course.

In girls tennis action, Terra Linda continued their winning ways with a 5-2 victory over San Domenico.
