The Lakewood Gladiators 14U baseball team recently showcased their talent and skill at The Great Lakes Classic in Sandusky, Ohio, where they secured a second-place finish. In their first game of pool play, the Gladiators faced off against the Timber Rattlers from Oakland, Maryland, and emerged victorious with a commanding 10-1 win. They continued to build on their lead in the second inning, with key hits from Gavin Weaver, Mason Degnan, and Wilson Genareo contributing to their early success. Moving on to their second game against Lakeside Baseball Club from Detroit, the Gladiators maintained their winning momentum with a solid 4-1 victory.
