The dynamic duo of Peter and Allen combined for an impressive 636 kills and 166 blocks last season, showcasing their talent and contribution to the team’s success.

Looking ahead to the upcoming season, Peter and Allen have been named to the All-SAC Preseason First Team, highlighting their continued impact on the team. Setter Sydney Karjala, who finished last season ranked third in the conference in assists per set and fourth in total assists, was named to the All-SAC Preseason Second Team. Libero Lyndsie Warren, who was a defensive force last year, finishing second in the conference in total digs, was named to the All-SAC Preseason Third Team.

The Bears are set to kick off their season at the Fairmont State Volleyball Classic on September 6-7 before returning home to host Coker on September 10th for their home and conference opener. With a talented roster and a proven track record of success, the team is poised to make a strong showing in the SAC this season.

In the preseason coaches poll, Lenoir-Rhyne was ranked third behind Wingate and Anderson, showcasing the high expectations for the team this year. With a competitive conference lineup, including teams like Tusculum, Carson-Newman, and Catawba, the Bears will face tough competition as they strive to build on last season’s success and make a run for the SAC title.

Overall, the Lenoir-Rhyne Volleyball team is primed for another exciting season filled with talent, determination, and the drive to succeed. With a strong core of players and a dedicated coaching staff, the Bears are ready to take on the challenges that lie ahead and make their mark in the SAC.
